1. To maintain and improve the care, wellbeing and living standards of Harness Goats across the World.

2. To act as a governing body to whom Show Committees can refer for guidance in framing conditions for Working Goats.

3. To educate and encourage all interested parties by means of lectures, parades and discussions.

4. To act as a course of advice on the optimum type and length of work, suitability of vehicles and packs, and on any other matters pertaining to the health and training of Harness Goats.
